It definitely affect the sincerity and quality of prayers. Just praying in BCS with 20 friends in the room, on the mike, is a challenge for me, tho alot of that is fear of the Lord (appropriately) for the responsibility of leading in a public meeting (when people prophesy in a non-harpandbowl, traditional localchurch paradigm, this fear I observe is not enough; it is good to fear the Lord).
