Show Us Your Glory Lord!
I’m blown away tonight. I’m watching the Lakeland revival and Todd is asking for God to show us His glory. That is exactly what the focus of our upcoming 40 day fast at IHOP is about! Lou Engle called IHOP to a 40 day fast beginning June 30th and going to August 8th. The focus, Lou said, is to ask God to show us His glory. Here is Todd Bentley, going on for months in Lakeland with healings and miracles, and now he says that from now until July 23rd, God is going to pour out the fullness of His glory there in Lakeland. Wow, the fullness. That is intense. Todd also said that he has experienced healings and miracles and stadium meetings in other countries. He said that is not why he is staying indefinitely in Lakeland. He is staying because…….he has never exeperienced the presence of God like this anywhere else. So what happens when a few 100 IHOPers fast for 40 days for God to show us His Glory? We’ll see!

*Crosstalk Alert* Wednesday
I recently posted a message from Justin Peters (http://www.justinpeters.org) on the Word of Faith movement and its heretical teachings. This is the movement that has produced so many false teachers, including Todd Bentley and his Lakeland “revival”. …

I’m not sure I completely understand where you are coming from, but I’m assuming you might pointing out that you feel this thing in Lakeland isn’t real. Todd mentioned last night that they have at least 10,000 medically verified healing testimonies in their hands. I think the bottom line for me on things like this is that the Holy Spirit is real, and a gift to us from God as a part of being born again children of His. Without the Holy Spirit, we are only left with our own, human fleshly power, which is no match for our own flesh or the devil. Those who say moves of God like this aren’t real are cheating themselves of the power of God in their lives and the strengthening of their hearts and faith that come with it.
As a pastor I know in Houston has always said, “fakes, cheats and charletans will always be with us – get over it”. What he means is, there will always be some tares with the wheat. Let us discern between them and go with the wheat.
Blessings to you and thanks for your comment!

For all cretics of the Freshfire ministries or the person Tod Bently, well every good and worthy thing is always controversial against the status quo. why don’t you just ask them so if this is what you feel what is your alternative(s) or How do yoy like it to be?
I am curious to see how the concerned persons respond
