Leaders Promoting True Unity

I was really encouraged and blown away by the gathering of spiritual leaders on Monday night in Lakeland.  Folks like Rick Joyner, Bill Johnson, Che Ahn and many others were there to publicly and forthrightly honor and bless what God is doing in and through Todd Bentley and this move at Lakeland.  They prayed over him, anointed him, spoke words of prophecy, blessing and honor over him.  When was the last time you can remember major ministry leaders, on a worldwide stage coming out to bless a move of God that didn’t come through their hands and ministries?  This is unprecendented in modern Christianity, I believe.  It, to me, is yet another sign and mark of what God is doing through this move in the earth.  The time has come for us to set aside our selfish agendas and realize it is all about Jesus and the Kingdom, not our own prominence.  I believe these leaders are doing a great job at being just that – leaders.  They are serving us by setting an example of humility and they are blessing what God is doing whatever and wherever it is, whether they are leading it or not.  This is God’s way, for us to “go low” and not seek to exalt ourselves, but instead rejoicing in God’s goodness and blessing.  This is the only way to be united as one Body.

  1. Unity? In the devil’s service. Not that difficult to do

  2. Polycarp
Sounds like you think the devil is better at promoting unity than God is? Wasn’t Satan the one cast out of heaven for having the “unifying” idea of being God instead of God? Think about it.

  3. Don’t mind Polycarp. He’s locked into a tiny theological box that only has room for him in it.

  4. Cool. I confess I have a heart to see that change – the stakes are too high for it not to!

  5. Intercessor, that was an occult initiation. Please see my report on it at http://www.truthspeaker.wordpress.com and educate yourself

  6. I sincerely hope you find the truth soon.

  7. “as taught by a variety of Christian seers and psychics–such as interpreting dreams, providing “spiritual readings” for the lost, “opening the heavens” to release the “manifest presence” of God (i.e., oil and “glory dust”), working with angels, raising the dead, “spirit-traveling” to the third heaven (throneroom of God), communicating with departed saints, and more.”

As Quoted from your blog… Do you really think that these things done clearly in the bible are New Age and occultish? Remember we serve a God that decided to make an axe head float on the water, just so Elisha could return it to the owner.

That is not to say the Todd Bentley is perfect or that everything going on at Lakeland or in Arizona with Patrica King is the Lord. I guarantee that there is some flesh mixed in there as well, however the bible clearly says the the wheat and the tarres will grow up together and that it is the Lord that will judge between them.

Really if Todd is not changing the meaning of salvation then how can he or P. King be an occult leader? I have yet to hear of a credible account of them attempting to change salvation. There have been quotes taken out of context, but I could do that to your blog and say that you believe that Jesus was an occult leader. Look at the above quote….

  8. [...] I posted earlier… A response to Todd’s defense letter. Of course, you will always have those people that defend him against scripture and sanity. And more in Todd and the Glass [...]
